Today I want to share the biggest mistakes I made with my first book so hopefully you can avoid making them, too. MISTAKE #1: I WAS LAUNCHING A COURSE, TOO. I think one of the biggest mistakes I made with my first book was working to launch my first course at the same time. Yes, writing a book is easier than you think, but it still takes time. A delightfully illustrated board book of things to look for, spot and talk about at the seaside, on a shopping trip, in the garden and other outings. Little children will love exploring each busy page to find the green tractor, the longest caterpillar, a stripy fish and more.

How I wrote my first book. April 1 at AM Hi everybody, wherever you are in the world, I am sorry for not being able to send out the short vlogs I am making.   Book pages are such a fun crafting material that are cheap and easy to use! You’ll be blown away with these things to make with paper that are perfect if you’re wondering what to do with an old book page. The Tip Junkie Creative Community has pictured tutorials with free patterns for things to make out of book pages!! So be sure to search there if you re looking for something specific.

My editor had to take me to a bar and buy me a glass of wine just to get me to finish it. My dog would not come near my writing desk for fear of getting.
